A 77-year-old Florida resident residing in The Villages, a renowned retirement community, is now facing federal charges related to the acquisition of $1,800 worth of erectile dysfunction (ED) medications, purportedly intended for local distribution within the retirement enclave.

This unique community even took the spotlight in a 2020 documentary titled “Some Kind Of Heaven.”

Federal Charges and the Defendant: Reginald Kincer Accused of Misbranded Drug Receipt Reginald Kincer, the 77-year-old defendant, faces federal charges brought by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Middle District of Florida. He is accused of obtaining misbranded drugs in interstate commerce. The list of drugs in question includes Snovitra-20, Vilitra 20, Cenforce 100, Vidalista 20, Tadalafil Tablets 20, Kamini Sildenafil Oral Jelly, Kamagra Oral Jelly, and Vardenafil. Authorities allege that Kincer had plans to distribute these drugs locally and beyond the borders of Florida.

Legal Defense and Local Reactions: Defendant’s Perspective and Community’s Response While the defendant’s attorney has not yet issued an immediate response to the charges, Reginald Kincer spoke with WESH 2 at his residence regarding the allegations. He asserted, “They are trying to do the right thing, and I’m trying to do the right thing, too.”

Interestingly, residents of The Villages appear to view the situation with a sense of humor. One local resident confidently stated, “It won’t hold up in court,” while a local woman added, “A man is just trying to do a girl a favor.”

Investigation and Potential Consequences: Department of Homeland Security on the Case The allegations are currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security. If the suspect is found guilty, he could potentially face penalties of up to $10,000 in fines and up to one year in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
