High Protein Breakfast in McDonald’s
Depending on your needs and priorities, a healthy breakfast will differ. Perhaps you follow a keto diet and need a high-protein breakfast, or perhaps you’re a vegetarian. In order to find the most nutritious breakfast items from McDonald’s, we considered a variety of diets, calories, protein, carbohydrates, sugars, and fats. Here are some of the options we found.
1) Egg McMuffin
Egg McMuffins are one of the best options when it comes to a balanced meal. At 310 calories, they have 17 grams of protein, 30 grams of carbohydrates, and 13 grams of fat.
2) Sausage Burrito
In comparison to the Egg McMuffin, the Sausage Burrito contains 13 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbohydrates, and 17 grams of fat. It consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, veggies, and American cheese.
3) Fruit & Maple Oatmeal
McDonald’s oatmeal contains diced apples, cranberry raisin blended, and light cream. It is a meatless option without meat, but does contain 31 grams of sugar and 64 carbs.
If you’re not in the mood for the Big Breakfast (even though we love those Hotcakes), you can choose from a variety of breakfast items a la carte, like scrambled eggs, bacon strips, apple slices, and hash browns.
