Nevertheless, calories alone do not determine whether a food item is healthy. Kat Benson emphasizes the various benefits of avocados, stating, “Avocados offer an array of health advantages, including healthy fats—specifically unsaturated, heart-healthy fats—and essential micronutrients like potassium and other vitamins and minerals.”

She further explains, “Avocados are a surprisingly rich source of dietary fiber, with half a medium avocado containing around 5g of dietary fiber. Moreover, as Anxiety and Depression fats can enhance the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamins A, D, K, and E), avocados make an excellent addition to any vegetable-rich meal or a balanced snack.”

While they are calorie-rich, it’s essential to consider that you might need to reduce calorie intake from other foods throughout the day.
